The intimate setting sets the stage for guests to provide in depth analysis on the good, the bad and the downright hilarious for our community as they watch by the millions.  Through the Wire features four childhood friends from Chicago with a shared love of basketball as they deliver the ultimate NBA fan podcast. They talk hoops as only real best friends can, blending casual commentary, NBA junkie analysis and playful smack talk to create one the most entertaining sports podcasts in the US. Fans like to kick back and stay awhile, enjoying this podcast-to-video experience on YouTube which averages nearly 20 minutes in watch time per episode.

We create dynamic, immersive experiences for our community which expand beyond the digital realm. B/R @ NBA All-Star Weekend is an annual celebration of basketball culture hosted by B/R. At this inaugural event in 2019, we launched experiences with the “House” of Highlights which brought fans into a House of Highlights-themed fun zone featuring basketball fan competitions, the ultimate gaming lounge, an interactive photo booth and live studio tapings of our fans’ favorite franchises. We returned to NBA-All Star in 2020 upping the ante on fan engagement with a human claw machine for a chance to win exclusive prizes. In conjunction with the NBA’s Summer League, we launched a pop-up arcade at B/R’s franchise event “The Jump Off,” filled with arcade-themed games, refreshments and an array of live studio programming for our fans. Through our massive social reach and the content we create from our events, our brand partners reach our community of 30 million in addition to the thousands of consumers in attendance. Along with sport tentpole activation, we create bespoke events on behalf of our partners leveraging our brand, community and content expertise to meet their live event marketing needs.

House of Highlights has built a community on the core values of camaraderie, competition, and celebration — much like a sports camp. In celebration of those values and the ability of sports to bring people together, we’ve taken House of Highlights offline to create a positive impact on our community through a one-of-a-kind sports camp. To date, we’ve hosted camps in the Bay Area with Golden State Warriors Jordan Poole and Eric Paschal, and in Chicago with Coby White from the Chicago Bulls.

Merchandise and Collaborations

Through merch drops, our community has shown us that they love to don the H. In 2020, we dropped heat on our shopping portal and introduced more opportunities to collaborate with influencers, leagues and brand partners. Our partnership with the NBA for Western and Eastern Conference Finals merchandise drove record sales. In addition, we work with brand partners, like Wilson to create long-term partnerships that extend from content to commerce.
